Special nature experiences and outings for families

The Plans-Frara, Col Pradat, Col Alt, and Boè lifts provide easy access to the higher slopes, allowing you to enjoy trekking in Alta Badia together. You’ll walk to some stunning viewpoints, have a picnic on an Alpine meadow, and spot marmots, chamois, and ibex. On a sunrise or sunset tour, you can capture the magical atmosphere on camera.

The easy walking and themed trails are the perfect destinations for families. At the playgrounds and adventure parks in the surrounding area, the little ones enjoy summer in Alta Badia and play to their hearts’ content. Particularly popular is the Adventure Park Colfosco at the entrance to the village, which is situated right next to Colfosco Animal Park, where you can stroke rabbits, sheep, alpacas, geese, and chickens.

The Sellaronda is not only one of the winter highlights for skiers, but also makes summer in Alta Badia a treat for cyclists. Cycling around the Sella massif on an e-bike is just as popular with nature lovers as the e-bike tours over the various Dolomite passes in the surrounding area. The flow trails and bike parks in Alta Badia offer pure action, including the Gardenaccia freeride course, which starts in neighbouring La Villa.
